Tennessee Bill Advocating For Parents’ Rights To Obtain Children’s Medical Records Filed For 2025 Session

In An Effort To Provide Parents With Greater Transparency About Their Children’s Medical Treatments & Records, Senator Mark Pody Has Filed A Bill Which Would Ensure That A Child’s Parent, Legal Guardian, Or Custodian May, “Access And Review All Health And Medical Records Of The Child,” Including Records Related To Treatments Performed On Minors Without Parental Consent.
