Mary Smith, Corporate Leader For Nissan North America And One Of Five Republican Candidates For District 5 Williamson County Commissioner, Has Kicked Off Her Grassroots Campaign.
Mary Smith Press Release:
On Saturday, February 26th, Mary Smith, Corporate Leader for Nissan North America and one of five Republican Candidates for District 5 Williamson County Commissioner, kicked off her grassroots campaign with a low-key happy hour event in her community of Kings Chapel.
There were over 70 people in attendance including family, friends, and honored guests from around the community. The event not only served as a way for Mary to share her message but for supporters to engage with candidates running for other county and federal offices.
Guests enjoyed a tasty variety of hors d’oeuvres prepared by Chef Mike and, as a special treat for the kids, freshly baked chocolate chip cookies provided by Sugar Butter Custom Cookies.
Mary stated, “I am truly humbled and grateful for the outpouring of love and support since I made the decision to run. I’ve never thought of myself as a politician but considering the important issues facing our county and country I knew I could not remain on the sidelines. I have a deeply rooted belief that serving others is the biggest joy one can experience. I want to take my heart for service and represent the hardworking people in District 5.”
“I have lived in this county for almost 17 years. I have owned businesses in Fairview and Spring Hill and have over 25 years of corporate experience in team-building, problem solving and strategic management. There is a reason I went back to school in my 40’s to earn an MBA in Leadership and Ethics. It is because I truly believe in both. I’m looking forward to taking my experience, love for this county, and passion for my country to the Board of Commissioners so that together we can create solutions based on common sense, core values and the Constitution.”
The last day to register for this upcoming primary is April 4th. Early voting runs from April 13th through April 28th. Election Day is May 3rd.

A most reliable source told me this very day that if Mary Smith is elected to the Williamson County Commission she will be one of the most conservative members of that legislature. I don’t live in the Fifth District, but I look forward to finding a way to support Mary’s candidacy.
