Nashville police have announced that the mother of last year’s shooter at Antioch High School is now wanted after a warrant was issued for her arrest.

The Metro Nashville Police Department says 40-year-old Chrysta Thomas is now wanted on charges of unlawful gun possession by a convicted felon. She is facing nationwide extradition.

Lab results returned from the 2025 shooting show that Thomas’ DNA was found on the pistol used by 17-year-old Solomon Henderson on January 22. It is believed that Henderson acted alone, killing one student and injuring another before turning the gun on himself.

Records indicate that Thomas has a prior felony conviction of possession of a stolen vehicle from a 2010 incident in Los Angeles.

Shortly after the shooting occurred last year, police were told that Thomas and her family had moved from their residence. No information has been received about where they went.

There has been no criminal prosecution on the case.
