Jury Nullification: Realizing the power and duty of the modern juror

This six week course addresses a power that the juror has but typically will not be advised by the judge. In fact, you might be told that what you learn is wrong.  Why?  Because they believe that jury nullification minimizes their own power and/or neglects “the law,” which is also inaccurate.

The judge has his/her job; the juror has her/his job, to vote one’s conscience.  Learn how you can do that with a fully clear conscience.

This FREE, 6-part video course is from The American View. It “was developed to equip citizens with our Founders’ understanding of both the grand and petit jury systems. … the jury was viewed by our Founders as a check on government… They understood the crucial role juries play in restraining tyranny.”

Your host is Danny Blitz – https://patriotmama.org

A different video will be presented during each of six consecutive weeks starting at 7:00 pm Central time. Each video lasts around one hour; a discussion may follow if anyone chooses. Plan for 1-1/2 hours maximum each night.

  • LECTURE 1, September 10: The Biblical Foundation of Law
  • LECTURE 2, September 17: Origin and Development of Trial by Jury
  • LECTURE 3, September 24: The American View of Trial by Jury
  • LECTURE 4, October 1: The History of Jury Independence
  • LECTURE 5, October 8: So You’ve Been Called
  • LECTURE 6, October 15: A Guide for Prospective Jurors

While there are six different videos, you can choose which ones you wish to attend.  Naturally, you would benefit from watching all of them but if you can only make 5 or less, this is okay.  Anything you learn will help you begin to understand the true power of the juror.
