Press Release –

On Thursday, November 5, at 6:00 PM, Rep. Michele Reneau will welcome world-renowned agricultural pioneer, author, and lecturer Joel Salatin for an exclusive post-election community gathering.

Known widely for his appearances in the hit documentary Food, Inc. and Michael Pollan’s bestselling book The Omnivore’s Dilemma, Salatin will bring his signature folksy wisdom, sharp wit, and unvarnished common sense to an intimate evening dedicated to personal liberty, self-reliance, and local food independence.

The event highlights the critical importance of grassroots action and community resilience, celebrating local legislative milestones achieved by State Representative Michele Reneau. From expanding food freedom laws to protect herd shares and small producers, to pushing for vital property protections and search-warrant requirements for regulatory bodies like the Department of Agriculture and the TWRA, the evening emphasizes that true security starts at the local level.

“What is it worth to have a fighter in your corner for food freedom, medical freedom, and your privacy?” said Lindy Goodrich, Cedar Hills Farm host. “This event is about standing up, connecting with like-minded neighbors, and investing in solutions right here at home with a representative who will not back down to government overreach.”

  1. Recently, driving through Chattanooga/Hinson, I had seen her campaign signs. On those signs it had the support of Chattanooga Professional Firefighters, I.A.F.F. I was shocked but encouraged to see that Chattanooga Fire Union bucked the National I.A.F.F.
