By this afternoon, skies will become mostly sunny across the state. Afternoon highs for this first day of November will be mild and in the low to mid 60s.
Clouds increase overnight, as low temps fall into the low to mid 40s.
Tuesday’s sun will share the sky with some passing clouds. Those clouds will keep temps about ten degrees cooler than on Monday, with afternoon highs topping out in the low to mid 50s for much of the state. The exception is an area from Knoxville to Chattanooga, where sunnier skies should allow afternoon temps to reach 60 degrees.
