The Tennessee Conservative [By Adelia Kirchner] –
House Bill 64 (HB0064), which would require residential schools in Tennessee to segregate restrooms, changing areas, and showers according to biological sex is scheduled for consideration by the House Education Administration Subcommittee on Tuesday, Feb. 11th, 2025.
The legislation, filed by Rep. Gino Bulso (R-Brentwood-District 61), requires that all residential educational programs in Tennessee segregate their restrooms, changing areas, and showers according to “immutable biological sex” if such program allows minors to participate or to access residential facilities.
This would apply to residential elementary, middle, and secondary schools, as well as private schools and postsecondary or higher education institutions that allow minors to access the relevant facilities.
Tennessee law defines “sex” as “a person’s immutable biological sex as determined by anatomy and genetics existing at the time of birth and evidence of a person’s biological sex.”
Rep. Bulso told The Tennessee Conservative that some constituents expressed concern after enrolling their minor student in a month-long summer program offered by a private university in Nashville.
“The students were to be housed in the university’s dormitories,” Bulso explained. “The parents were asked whether their daughter could be assigned a transgender student as a roommate. The parents said that that was not acceptable. Their daughter was therefore assigned another young lady as a roommate.”
“Unbeknownst to the parents and undisclosed by the school,” continued Bulso, “the school permitted ‘transgender’ students (that is, in this case, boys who ‘identified’ as girls) to share the bathroom and shower facilities on the girls’ floor of the dormitory. Some of the ‘transgender’ students were openly flirting with some of the girls in the communal bathroom.”
“If passed, HB0064 would prohibit any educational, residential program that includes minors from allowing this from continuing to occur,” said Bulso.

Having to pass legislation like this is what’s wrong with the Education System,
It’s not the Politicians or the system but the “CITIZENS” that allow such a system to be created.
THANX!! Emailed them “YES!!”.
