The Tennessee Conservative [By Kelly M. Jackson] –
This summer in late July, The Bitcoin Conference will converge on Nashville, specifically, Music City Center for what the conference website calls “the world’s largest Bitcoin Conference”.
The website also advertises what conference goers should expect this year:
“Over the last five years, The Bitcoin Conference has become the world’s largest gathering of bitcoiners. From breaking announcements and international media coverage to countless meaningful talks by thought leaders and industry innovators, we are excited to continue our drive for global hyperbitcoinization. From July 25th – 27th, 2024, we’ll be taking The Bitcoin Conference to the city of music and freedom – Nashville, Tennessee. Join thousands of attendees for countless opportunities to learn, engage, and network across three days of pure bitcoin signal.”
Organizers are offering 3 different levels of ticket packages, starting at $299, going all the way up to $4,499.00.
According to reports, David Bailey, CEO of Bitcoin sees great potential for growth in Nashville due to its “ideal blend of freedom-loving mindset and entrepreneurial spirit that will enable Bitcoin to thrive.” Organizers of the conference have already begun their collaboration with local businesses to ensure that by the time the conference hits town, those who are attending will have the ability to seamlessly utilize their bitcoin for all their transactions.
The goal, according to reports, is to “foster a community where Bitcoin payments are widely accepted, unlocking new opportunities and creating a strong foundation for economic growth and preparing the city for bitcoiners to descend next July.” To turn Nashville into a veritable “hub of Bitcoin acceptance.”
U.S. Senator from Tennessee, Bill Hagerty, welcomed the conference stating, “I couldn’t be more excited that the 2024 Bitcoin Conference is coming to Nashville Tennessee.”
Cryptocurrencies have been accepted by some businesses in the Nashville area for about 10 years, but this conference aims to create an environment in Nashville that organizers, as well as city officials alike, will foster “as yet untapped economic growth” when many more businesses are equipped with the ability to accept bitcoin in addition to more traditional forms of payment.
Some heavy hitters are in their keynote line up, most notable is President and CEO of Children’s Health Defense Fund, and now 2024 Democrat Presidential candidate Robert F Kennedy Jr.
Also included in the lineup are: Republican Presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy, Former Congress Woman and Presidential Candidate Tulsi Gabbard, to name just a few.
In addition to conference sessions, there will be “networking opportunities, exhibitions showcasing cutting-edge technology and interactive workshops aimed at educating and empowering individuals in the Bitcoin landscape.”
Tickets for the conference are now available at the official conference website, organizers encourage those who have a serious interest in attending to purchase tickets as soon as one is able, due to anticipated high demand. The dates of the conference are July 25th-July 27th.
