The Tennessee Conservative [By Paula Gomes] –
Dr. Dean Clouse, a U.S. Air Force veteran and Doctor of Physical Therapy, has announced his candidacy for U.S. Congress in Tennessee’s 8th Congressional District. Official filing took place Friday, March 4, 2022 with the State Election Commission and Republican Party headquarters.
Dr. Clouse recognizes the need for a real conservative who will use the voice given to them by the people of Tennessee to fight for election integrity nationwide, to fight against tyrannical government overreach through unconstitutional mandates that cost people jobs and livelihoods, and to fight against indoctrination of our children in schools.
Clouse said, “We need real conservatives in Congress who will not vote for military courts to be able to take guns from veterans without due process as is in the 2022 National Defense Authorization Act. We need conservatives who will not vote for things like the Immunization Infrastructure Modernization Act that gives the federal government access to your protected health information. And we need conservatives in Congress who are not as quiet as a church mouse until a few months before primaries when they begin photo ops and tours.”
“We don’t need people in Congress who are not responsive to their constituency and who aren’t willing to stand up and fight back against radical leftists trying to destroy our country. There is no place for anyone in our government who would support censorship, further restrictions on guns, confiscation of property without due process, or allowing the government access to personal health information as these are all violations of God given and Constitutional rights,” Clouse concluded.
Dr. Clouse is married and has two children. He is an Air Force Security Forces veteran, having served in Germany, Afghanistan, and Washington state until leaving the Air Force in 2012 to return to school. He graduated from University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center in 2017 and has worked as a Doctor of Physical Therapy for 5 years since then. He resides in Somerville, TN and has decided to run for Congress in Tennessee’s 8th Congressional District after seeing medical misinformation for 2 years which has impacted his patients in combination with watching RINOs, that Conservatives should be able to count on, continually let us down.
