Fall has certainly arrived in the South! After some patchy morning fog, look for abundant sunshine and pleasant afternoon high temps. Much of the state will see temps in the mid to upper 60s for much of the day.
Some might classify tonight’s low temps as “chilly.” Under starry skies and a nearly-full moon, overnight lows will fall into the 40s across the state. Watch for some patchy fog by daybreak.
More sunshine awaits us for Friday. Afternoon highs will be a bit warmer than on Thursday, but continued pleasant. Much of the state will see highs climb to near 70 degrees, with West Tennessee climbing into the mid to upper 70s.
