A known gang member from Knoxville has been sentenced to 45 years in prison without the chance of parole.
33-year-old Travei Pryor was arrested in October 2022 after police executed a search warrant at a home on Western Avenue in Knoxville on suspicion of drug activity.
Officers discovered him with over one and a half ounces of fentanyl that had been packaged for sale/distribution. Pryor was also found to have digital scales, additional packing materials, $8000 in cash, and two loaded guns, including one with an extended magazine.
Pryor is a known member of the Rollin’ 60s Crips street gang. He has 17 previous felony convictions, including aggravated kidnapping, robbery, and multiple gun charges.
“After getting out of prison, this offender chose to continue his criminal activity,” said District Attorney General Charme Allen. “Because of that decision, he is headed back to TDOC.”
Pryor was charged with possession with intent to sell fentanyl and cocaine, unlawful possession of a firearm, and possession of a firearm during commission of a felony.
