Press Release – Inaugral 1st Lead U Leadership Conference Focuses on Learning to Lead Yourself Before Leading Others:

On April 15, at Fort Bluff Camp in Dayton, TN,  the 1st Lead U team will present a unique take on leadership with a focus on learning to first lead yourself as a way to lead others more effectively.

Speakers include Personal Growth Coach John Ballinger and special guest speakers Former Chattanooga Police Chief David Roddy, Kids and Pros founder Buddy Curry, Director of Culture and People Experience at Southern Champion Tray T.W. Francescon, and International Pastor Segun Aiyebusi.

Dayton, TN – Fort Bluff Camp – On April 15, 1st Lead U, a personal growth and leadership development team, will host its inaugural, one-day leadership conference at Fort Bluff Camp in Dayton, TN. As a culmination of 35 years of both military and business leadership, John Ballinger has come to understand most of the problems in an organization are rooted in poor, inefficient, and ineffective leadership.

“So many times it is a leader’s lack of self-awareness that causes their team to lose trust in them, which leads to other issues,” says John Ballinger, long-time business consultant and personal growth coach. “It is my belief that self-awareness through self-reflection leads to self-development. Leaders need to understand the tremendous amount of pressure that is being applied to their team members from every aspect of their lives, and if those team members are learning the fundamentals of personal development, they are bringing those pressures with them to work, which often negatively impacts the work culture.”

1st Lead U was founded in 2022 and is the leadership development component of Ballinger and Associates, a business consulting and risk management firm based in Chattanooga, TN.
