The Tennessee Conservative Staff –
People are questioning just when new entry-resistant window film will be installed in Metro Nashville Public Schools after officials approved a contract costing more than $3 million dollars.
Because of the number of schools and the intricacy of installing the film, and because they have to wait for the right weather for installation, officials say it could be months before the project is completed.
MNPS spokesperson Sean Braisted says the goal is “to have the film installed in all schools as quickly as possible.”
The school system opted to install the film because it is designed to hold glass in place even if shot several times.
The contract with Solar Tint was approved by the board and will be in effect from August 23, 2023, to August 22, 2028. The maximum cost of the project is $5 million.
Because of potential safety concerns, the school system has opted not to release the order in which schools will receive the new film.

I’m not saying “at all costs”, I think contracted agreements in each county should be signed as soon as possible. If a company has garunteed work scheduled it can hire more ppl.
Remember “OJT” ON THE JOB TRAINING?
It’s good idea not to publicize the order of installation.
