Chattanooga, TN – Planned Parenthood, the nation’s largest abortion provider recently hired two new staff members for the Chattanooga area.

According to Planned Parenthood, the expansion will not include clinical services and instead focus on the group’s mission – “to provide comprehensive education and advocacy around sexual and reproductive rights.”

Candy Clepper, president of The Greater Chattanooga Right To Life organization, states that Planned Parenthood’s “greatest source of profit and their entire business model is built around maximizing their abortion business, including introducing themselves into a community with sex education programs.”

Clepper goes on to say that Planned Parenthood has, “opposed every parental consent law across the nation; laws that would make sure parents know if their daughter is undergoing an abortion. A girl cannot be given an aspirin by the school nurse without permission from a parent, yet Planned Parenthood pushes their agenda to undermine parents, promote “no strings attached sex” and normalize abortion on our young daughters.”

“How could the people of Chattanooga trust the largest abortion provider in the world with their deadly agenda to have the best intentions for our children and our community at heart? The only thing Planned Parenthood brings to the table is abortion,” Clepper states.

Greater Chattanooga currently has a petition against Planned Parenthood’s expansion in Chattanooga, which can be signed HERE.

In concert with Greater Chattanooga Right to Life, Calvary Chapel Chattanooga is hosting a petition to be presented directly to the Hamilton County School Board.

A portion of the petition states, “we are asking you Dr. Johnson and members of the Hamilton County School Board, to not allow Planned Parenthood to have any direct or indirect influence on the curriculum used by Hamilton County Schools.”

Investigation by LIVEAction.org backs up Greater Chattanooga’s claims with findings that seem to indicate the true motto at Planned Parenthood is “sex with no strings attached.”

According to Live Action, teens are told that “they can have sex wherever, whenever, and with whomever – and anything goes, as long as it’s consensual and contracepted.

In an undercover investigation by LIVE Action, in Planned Parenthood facilities across the country, clinicians advised Live Action investigators, whom they believed were underage, how to experiment with dangerous sexual practices and illegally visit sex shops.

Videos document the abortion chain’s questionable and risky sexual advice for boys and girls, funded by American taxpayers.

The case against Planned Parenthood was further supported by Pro-Life advocate Seth Gruber when he recently hosted a former Planned Parenthood educator where she talked about the harm their sex education causes to children, families and the community.

The interviewee, Monica Cline was Planned Parenthood’s former Title X (family planning) Training Manager and volunteer educator for the organization.

During this time, she came to learn from her “mentors” that serving the marginalized meant only “meeting them where they’re at,” and then leaving them there.

When she began to question the “comprehensive sex education” and “crisis pregnancy counseling,” she was told that if she wasn’t pro-abortion, then she didn’t belong there.

There are more than 25 Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) within 50 miles of downtown Chattanooga that provide comprehensive, health services with licensed professionals regardless of the person’s ability to pay.

There are also many Pregnancy Resource Centers in the Chattanooga Area that provide confidential, medically accurate health, reproductive, and parenting education; ultrasounds; counseling and support to mothers and fathers; and material needs for both mother and child.
