Another illegal alien is off the streets of Davidson County after police make an arrest for crimes involving underage drinking and firearm theft.
18-year-old Keishaun Liden was arrested on November 27 on misdemeanor charges of alcohol consumption under the age of 21, public intoxication, and possession of a handgun while under the influence. He was also charged with a felony for theft of a firearm.
He appeared in court before Judge Lynda Jones on December 5. Both of the alcohol related charges as well as the firearm theft charges were dropped at the request of the state, but Liden was found guilty of possession while under the influence.
He was not sentenced and was only charged with $317.50 in court costs.
Jail records now show that Liden is being held on an immigrant detainer. He will remain in custody until he is released to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
