The Knox County Sheriff’s Department took another illegal alien off the streets last week.
26-year-old Neiver Infante was arrested on November 26 and charged with prostitution.
Records now show that she is being held on an immigration detainer. She will remain in custody until she is turned over to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
An ICE detainer hold means Infante is likely in the country illegally.
