The Tennessee Conservative Staff –

Two illegal aliens were arrested last week in Davidson County and are facing felony charges.

30-year-old Felipe Abreus Garcia was arrested on Tuesday, November 19 and was booked into the Downtown Detention Center on felony charges of promoting prostitution. His bond was set at $30,000.

On Wednesday, November 20, police arrested Mauricio Antonio Velazquez on charges of felony vehicle theft (with a value greater than $10,000 but less than $60,000). He was booked into the Davidson County Male Correctional Development Center with a bond of $25,000.

According to the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office inmate records, both men are ineligible for release because of an immigrant detainer hold.

This likely means that both Garcia and Velazquez are in the country illegally. They will be held by the DCSO until they are turned over to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
