Illegal aliens in Davidson and Knox Counties were arrested on a variety of charges including driving under the influence, larceny, and driving without a license.

Davidson County police arrested the following individuals:
37-year-old Gerardo Olmedo – arrested November 17
- Olmedo was charged with driving under the influence and driving without a license. He was booked on a $1500 bond.

26-year-old Wilmer Canales – arrested November 17
- Canales was arrested and charged with driving under the influence and driving without a license. He was booked on a $1500 total bond.


In Knox County, the following individuals were arrested:
30-year-old Uriel Velazquez Perez – arrested November 16
- Perez was charged with knowingly providing a vehicle to someone under the influence. He was booked on a $1500 bond.

52-year-old Jorge Mancilla – arrested November 16
- Mancilla was booked to be held for Loudon County on a larceny charge. He also faces charges of financial responsibility law and driving while license suspended.

54-year-old Samuel Caceres – arrested November 16
- Caceres was charged with DUI (2nd offense), violating the open container law, and driving while license was revoked. He was booked on a $4500 bond.

Inmate records show that these individuals all have immigrant detainers.
They will remain in custody until they are released to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
An ICE hold most likely means they are in this country illegally.
