World Economic Forum Driven Climate Action Plan Adopted By Chattanooga City Council

The Chattanooga City Council adopted Mayor Tim Kelly’s Climate Action Plan last week. A press release from the city says it will “protect Chattanoogans’ quality of life” but concerned citizens say it will impact their ability to live freely without government control and surveillance.
“At its core, this is a sustainability and growth plan for Chattanooga, one that will lead to social and economic benefits that all residents care about – like more transportation options, good-paying jobs, more accessible parks and greenways, and energy cost savings for taxpayers,” said Chattanooga Mayor Tim Kelly. “I want to thank our City Council for their vision and leadership in formally adopting the plan tonight.”
Kelly’s administration has said that data collection mechanisms recommended in the plan will not violate privacy, restrict movement, or lead to community-wide surveillance.
Concerned citizens have filed paperwork in chancery court to stop the plan from being implemented by the city.
According to the suit, if Chattanooga becomes a net zero carbon community it will impose solar energy initiatives on Chattanoogans who do not wish to participate – potentially leading to fines and penalties – and will restrict how citizens can use their own private property.
Originally published in 2015 as the Chattanooga Smart City Plan, the Climate Action Plan’s focus is now on sustainability, equity and climate change.
One of the goals, having city government achieve zero carbon emissions by 2040 through the use of an all electric fleet of vehicles, will be funded in part by federal grants.
Concerned Chattanoogans say the plan is Chattanooga’s version of the UN 2030 plan. Chattanooga is currently the only city in Tennessee participating in the G20 Global Smart Cities Alliance, aligning itself with the World Economic Forum’s ideals.
With the adoption of the plan in place, the city will now work to establish two committees, one internal and one external. The internal Climate Action Plan implementation committee will be comprised of local city government staff who will “ensure the plan’s goals are integrated into all departmental work” while the external Chattanooga Climate, Sustainability, and Resilience committee will “include representatives from across Chattanooga who will work with city staff to engage the community in the implementation of the plan city-wide.”
Patriots Engage – Chattanooga notes that new signs are going up at Chattanooga city limits. One such sign located on Highway 58 in Harrison lists seven “sister” cities of Chattanooga, including Wuxi, China.
Chattanooga is installing eighty-six new smart city intersections, “the largest urban Internet of Things deployment of its kind in the United States” according to Seoul Robotics who is partnering with the Chattanooga Department of Innovation Delivery and Performance and the Center of Urban Informatics and Progress at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Once complete, the city will have the capacity to monitor over a hundred intersections – the entire downtown area.

Hamilton county is an incorporated municipality. It is a for profit company just like walmart and Publix. Only shareholders get to vote in corporations. You don’t get to vote for the board of directors of walmart because you are not a shareholder (assuming you don’t own stock in the company). The WEF is also a privately held company and has nothing to do with our government. These are simply companies doing business with each other for profit. Corporations do not make laws, they make policy, that applies to their employees only. These policies are called statutes / code which are misrepresented as law. Refer to “title 28 sec 3002 line 15” in the US code to see that the United States is defined as a “federal corporation “. Hamilton county is just another franchise of the parent company called the United States. Buy a McDonald’s franchise and you’ll be subject to the policies or laws of the company.
The remedy is to create a new volunteer government in our county that is not incorporated. A General assembly, Judicial assembly, business commission and militia must be formed under common law in order to replace the existing maritime/ admiralty law corporation we now have operating. This is currently being formed under the TN state assembly. Please reply for more information.

Please see my comment on Wayne’s post. We need first to learn how our government is operating, the 3 types of law / jurisdictions and how to create a new government in order to replace the existing. This in fact has already started by the TN state assembly.

A camera on a pole? An air quality sensor to detect gas leaks, or a gun shot sensor that can distinguish between a car backfiring and a AK47 being used to kill innocent people at a national guard reserve station? If such equipment existed in 2015 there might be 5 less widows in our city.
Since 2010 EPB has had control over their own grid using smart tech knowledge. If TVA can produce enough power to support 100% of the grid, yes EPB can cut the power to your house to ensure the hospital and nursing homes have the power it needs to save lives?
Nobody is trying to steal your freedom. If you’re worried about privacy, turn your cell phone off and stop using it to surf the World Wide Web. No telling who is watching you through the portal you carry in your pocket.
Smart Technologies are only as smart as the people who use them.
We’re opposing big government. Traffic cameras may be fairly innocuous but if we give them an arm they will take a leg… or two. Gotta nip this in the bud before they put up cameras pointing at your house.

Seems there is nowhere to hide from this crap, I left crazy CA to get away from the psycho control freaks and it seems TN is going right along with the insanity too. This is so depressing and sad. It appears politicians everywhere have a price tag hanging off of them, just fill in the right amount and they will gladly do evil’s bidding. Pathetic.
