Chattanooga, TN – Chattanooga District Attorney General, Neal Pinkston is soliciting help from local businesses to solve the murder cases of two local senior citizens.
Neal Pinkston is the elected District Attorney General for the 11th Judicial District of the State of Tennessee. He began serving an eight (8) year term on September 1, 2014.
The request has gone out, in the form of an email, to a majority of Chattanooga businesses to donate to a reward pool.
The email reads as follows:

Greetings:
In the last 48 hours, two senior citizens have been murdered in our city. It appears the cases are related and although these victims did nothing to provoke their deaths, investigators believe the murders are retaliatory in nature with the aim of killing family members.
As you are likely aware, a WalletHub study released two days ago shows Chattanooga is the 10th most dangerous city in the U.S.
This surge in violence creates a serious threat to public health, which is unacceptable to all of us who live and work here. As the top law enforcement officer of Hamilton County, I am resolved to ensure the general safety of our citizens.
To accomplish this, I need the assistance of your firm and top corporate clients. As a starting point, I would like to send criminals a direct message by enlisting an overwhelming majority of businesses to donate to a reward pool aimed at solving the most recent murders of the elderly man and woman killed in the last two days.
Please let me know what else you need from me to be able to partner with my office on this critical and urgent community need.
The Tennessee Conservative reached out to Pinkston to ensure the email was legitimate and he confirmed the email did, indeed, come from his office.
Pinkston also stated this is not a phishing scam.
