A growing grassroots coalition is shaking up the conversation on election security and transparency in Tennessee.
Tennessee Fair Elections (TNFE) is already making a significant impact on policy, process, and public awareness.
TNFE is powered by everyday Tennesseans—concerned citizens from every corner of the state—united by one goal: to secure our elections by authenticating the voter, the ballot, and the count, and to restore the people’s trust in the process.
A Movement That’s Delivering Results:
Since its founding in September 2022, TNFE has transformed civic concern into action.
Legislative Concerns:
- Influence of well funded outside influencers allowed to operate in our election offices
- Voter ID: required updates that include citizenship and non-expired
- Citizenship: transparent efforts to check all available data bases prior to placing anyone on the voter rolls and also to use for list maintenance to ensure no non citizen has been registered to vote.
- Precinct Voting: eliminate the use of vulnerable vote centers that hamper effective audits.
- Audits: reconcile the number of paper ballots cast with the number of voter applications and the tabulator counts
- Internet connectivity: ensure that no piece of election equipment can be accessed by remote, wireless components.
Operational Impact:
- Launched a Voter Roll Working Group to detect and correct invalid or duplicate voter registrations
- Partnered with national and local watchdog group- Election Integrity Network.
“We are here to create clarity, transparency, and citizen trust in Tennessee”, said a TNFE spokesperson. “We want every Tennessean—regardless of party—to feel confident that their vote counts and counts accurately.”

Across the country, voters are demanding cleaner voter rolls, real audits, and transparency in how elections are run. TN Fair Elections is at the center of that movement.
This is not just about complaints—it’s about constructive, organized, and highly informed action.
From writing legislation to auditing registration data, this citizen-led movement is turning concern into accountability.
Next Steps: A Call for Civic Partnership –
TNFE isn’t slowing down. Upcoming efforts include:
• Collaborating with local and state officials and volunteer citizens to clean up voter rolls by importing a new website operational in several states, Check My Vote
• Expanding the ability to come alongside local election officials with state voter data that has been reviewed requiring potential action.
• Working to increase transparency & accountability by eliminating the ‘we don’t have to make a record’ loophole regarding the electoral process.
• Continuing engagement with county election commissioners and administrators on vulnerabilities and best practices
• Supporting legislation aligned with election transparency, and opposing anything that threatens it; legislative targets are registration, transparent & decentralized tabulation, and comprehensive auditing of the voting results
