Law enforcement officials in Davidson and Knox Counties arrested a number of illegal aliens on charges including aggravated domestic assault, aggravated kidnapping, and drug/alcohol related offenses.

Davidson County police arrested the following illegal aliens:
31-year-old Jose Manuel Alvarez Galo – arrested May 25
- Galo was charged with a violation of probation. He was initially booked on a $10,000 bond but was then given a 30-day sentence beginning on May 29. The violation of probation stemmed from an original conviction of driving under the influence in 2023.

29-year-old Felix Coy-Catun – arrested May 25
- Coy-Catun was charged with three counts of failure to appear, domestic assault with bodily injury, and evading arrest. He was convicted on June 1 on charges of leaving the scene of an accident with property damage, open container violation, violation of driver’s license law, assault/offensive contact, and evading arrest. He was given a 60-day sentence.


27-year-old Huge Leonel Rodriguez Herrera – arrested May 26
- Herrera was charged with 5 counts of violation of probation, possession or casual exchange of a controlled substance, driving under the influence (2nd offense), driver’s license required, and 2 counts of leaving the scene of an accident with damage over $1500. He was booked on a $10,500 total bond. His violation of probation charges stem from 2022 charges of aggravated assault (strangulation) and domestic assault with bodily injury and a 2025 charge of driving under the influence.


30-year-old Jose Luis Cifuentes Alverado – arrested May 27
- Alverado was charged with driving under the influence and driver’s license required. He was booked on a $3500 bond.

22-year-old Edwin-Omar Santos-Berrios – arrested May 27
- Santos-Berrios was charged with driving under the influence, driver’s license required, and evading arrest. He was booked on a $5000 total bond.

33-year-old Concepcion Abelino Castro-Posadas – arrested May 27
- Castro-Posadas was charged with forgery $2500 or > but < $10,000 and theft of property $2500 or > but < $10,000. He was booked on a $2500 bond.

Knox County police arrested the following illegal aliens:
32-year-old Jonni Eliazar – arrested May 24
- Eliazar was charged with two counts of aggravated kidnapping and two counts of aggravated domestic assault (strangulation). He was booked on a $15,000 total bond.

26-year-old Darvin Daniel Hernandez-Oscal – arrested May 24
- Hernandez-Oscal was charged with DUI (first offense), driving on roadways laned for traffic, open container, and speeding. He was booked on a $3750 total bond.

37-year-old Celio Alemendares Rodriguez – arrested May 26
- Rodriguez was charged with driving without a license and simple possession/casual exchange. He was booked on a $1250 bond.

34-year-old Pascual Jose Martin – arrested May 28
- Martin was charged with 2 counts of aggravated domestic assault and domestic assault. He was booked on a $35,000 bond.

44-year-old Fredy David Antunez Miralda – arrested May 29
- Miralda was charged with driving an unregistered vehicle on the highway, open container, and driving without a license. He was booked on a $3500 bond.

26-year-old Jose Manuel Escon Jacks – arrested May 30
- Jacks was charged with driving without a license. He was booked on a $20,000 bond.

Inmate records show that all of these individuals currently have immigrant detainers and will remain in custody until released to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. An ICE hold most likely means they are in this country illegally.
