One year away from the Republican primary, U.S. Sen. Marsha Blackburn has a 52-point poll lead in the race for governor of Tennessee.

With 364 days left until the primary, Thursday morning the Beacon Center of Tennessee said Blackburn is leading U.S. Rep. John Rose 66%-14%. A generic Democrat candidate, as the poll called it, would trail either Republican by 19%.

Beacon said 19% were undecided between Blackburn and Rose.

Methodology, including margin of error, was not released.

The poll sampling also includes questions on expansion of Education Freedom Scholarships, tariffs and a recent Supreme Court ruling impacting teenagers. Those results are to be released on Monday.

Blackburn, former state senator (1993-2003) and U.S. House member (2003-19), won reelection to a second six-year term in the Senate this past November.

Rose, former agriculture commissioner for the state, was first elected to Congress in the 2018 midterms.

Among other races in Tennessee’s midterm cycle are a seat in the U.S. Senate (not Blackburn’s); all nine Tennessee seats in the U.S. House of Representatives; state executive offices; all 33 Senate and all 99 House seats in the Legislature; and a state Supreme Court seat.

    1. The phrase “Lucifer’s pharma” seems to stem from social media or fringe rhetoric, like a 2022 song by Dialup Ghost that accuses her of enabling opioid addiction for profit. While it reflects real anger over the opioid crisis and her pharma ties, it’s not a factual claim but an emotive one. There’s no evidence she’s uniquely “owned” by the industry beyond the broader issue of campaign finance in politics, where many lawmakers receive similar contributions. Blackburn has had legislation aimed to balance access to legitimate medications with cracking down on illicit opioid use. She has also co-sponsored bills like CARA 2.0 to address the opioid crisis and supported bringing pharmaceutical manufacturing back to the U.S. to reduce reliance on China.
And… a 2017 Washington Post and 60 Minutes investigation, have pointed to her co-sponsorship of the 2016 Ensuring Patient Access and Effective Drug Enforcement Act and

So, it seems you are the one of those fringe rhetoric nut cases (or a messenger for Lucifer). The “Lucifer” framing is exaggerated and not grounded ever in evidence which of course you didn’t/don’t ever provide ANY. There’s no “owned by Lucifer” or any supernatural entity….you seem to say the “Lucifer” framing on EVERY post you make…. EVERY one. You seem to be a one trick pony with NEVER a shred of evidence of “Lucifer framing” to go with any of your claims. Soooooo….. Put up or shut up.

  1. Marsha is more known because she gets her face plastered on TV where most of the masses continue to get programmed. She is not interested in TN, just herself. She has done nothing for TN; none of her supposed bills have passed. AND she voted for BIDEN’s electoral votes putting him in office. JOHN ROSE DID NOT VOTE FOR BIDEN. He voted AGAINST BIDEN’s electoral votes proving he with the other 5 have the courage and integrity to rule. WAKE UP TENNESSEE.

    1. So, what you are saying is that Marsha’s TV blitz isn’t “programming,” it’s her smacking down the whiny left with facts while their talking heads choke on their own sanctimonious drivel. The masses? LOL They’re just eating up her glow-up, while her haters cry into their kale smoothies!
