The Tennessee Conservative [By Paula Gomes] –
A middle school teacher was arrested on Wednesday night over possessing child sexual material and charged with sexual exploitation of a minor.
Alexander Donahoe, a 28-year-old exceptional education teacher at Jere Baxter Middle School in Nashville was taken into custody after being investigated for months.
Back in March, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children discovered that reverse image searches for sexual pictures of children were coming from a computer IP address in Nashville.
After subpoenas were sent to the internet service provider, Donahoe was found to be behind the searches. He later admitted to police that he had sexual material of minors in his possession and that he was sexually attracted to children.
When Metro Nashville Police executed a search warrant at Donahoe’s home on Wednesday, they took all electronic devices, including his computer, to be analyzed.
Donahoe was held in the Metro jail with a bond of $100,000.
In a statement, a Metro Nashville Public Schools (MNPS) spokesperson relayed that Donahoe was placed immediately on administrative leave. He will have no access to MNPS buildings or systems while the school district conducts their own investigation.
While the details of his arrest are disturbing and unconscionable, it is not believed that any student at Jere Baxter was harmed by Donahoe. Nevertheless, MNPS will be coordinating with law enforcement while they look into the matter further.

Meanwhile, in nearby Sumner County, former elementary school custodian Tracy Lee Crews has been convicted on 38 felony counts related to attempts to exploit a 10-year-old.
Arrested at the end of last year, Crews gave a locked cellphone to the student at J.W. Wiseman Elementary School where he worked.
According to the Sumner County Sheriff’s Office, the device was found by the child’s parent who reported it to school leadership. Crews later confessed to having given the child the phone.

Crews admitted to detectives that he gave the phone to the 10-year-old to give the child access to pornographic material and for the purpose of creating child sexual abuse content.
When law enforcement searched his car, a greeting card addressed to the child with a handwritten note was discovered, along with cash, and the passcode to the phone. Detectives conducted a forensic review of the device in which they found many images and videos of a pornographic nature.
Crews’ trial lasted three days and he was found guilty of one count of Attempted Especially Aggravated Sexual Exploitation of a Minor, one count of Solicitation of a Minor to Commit Especially Aggravated Sexual Exploitation, and thirty-six counts of Attempted Exploitation of a Minor Under 13 by Electronic Means.
Now facing up to 156 years behind bars, Crews will be sentenced in November.

Child predator must be removed from the presence of our children, our schools, our churches, and more. The screening process for these “teachers” has got to be more stringent, and eliminating teacher unions will help this process wherein they are shielded from scrutiny. When they are caught, and they will be, they need to be criminally charged and punished according to the Bible (millstone tied around their neck and drowned).
