The Tennessee Conservative [By David Seal] –
Second District Congressman Tim Burchett (R-Knoxville) has sent a letter to President-Elect Donald Trump in support of reducing the size and scope of federal government, reducing the national debt, which is nearly $36 trillion, and to hold unelected bureaucrats accountable for their actions.
The congressman has long stood with taxpayers to reduce wasteful spending and bring the national debt under control.
Burchett is a member of the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability which has held multiple hearings to hold agencies to the fire on a variety of issues, especially the agencies that withhold information from the public on hot button issues such as money spent by the Pentagon.
The Tennessee Conservative News interviewed Burchett for this report.
“We are spending tens of millions of dollars on UAP’s, something the Pentagon says does not exist, despite video evidence and testimony by retired military experts that they do exist. We had to introduce a bill just to protect whistleblowers that wanted to speak out on issues like this. Saying that something doesn’t exist while spending money to investigate it is a tremendous contradiction.” – said Congressman Tim Burchett
A copy of Burchett’s letter to President Elect Trump is provided below.
