A part-time teacher in a Cumberland County elementary school is facing a number of different charges after drugs were discovered in her car while on school grounds.
A search conducted by a drug detection dog on Thursday resulted in a hit on Angela Anderson’s car in the Pine View Elementary School parking lot. A statement from the school system said that “illegal drugs” were found when school resource officers searched the vehicle.
Anderson, a Cookeville resident, is charged with simple possession of marijuana, possession of cocain, and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. The school system has suspended her without pay.
She was transported and held in the Cumberland County Jail on a $7,000 bond. She is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on Monday, January 8. The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office is continuing an investigation into the incident.

Why do all these teacher’s look like idiotic teenagers who never grew up? I see anyone can be a teacher these days, no matter how much of an ass you look like, no matter your mental illness, no matter your past, as long as you are a warm body willing to go along with the wacko liberal agenda, you can look like any deranged fool off the streets. They don’t bother with background checks, is it any wonder the kids are so screwed up. Teacher’s union needs to be dismantled.
Was only her weight loss meth.
