The Tennessee Conservative [By David Seal] –
Tennessee voters have been lulled into complacency when it comes to election integrity. There is plenty to be concerned about because of the increase in “voting centers” use of electronic voting machines, and lack of using secure paper ballots.
Kathy Harms, the leader of Tennessee Fair Elections, is the go-to person for election integrity in this state.

Often, Tennessee is described as the number one state for election security; but Harms tells a different story with her accounts of centralized voting locations. Such voting practices are sold to local election officials based on voter convenience.
According to Harms, a departure from secure paper ballots, voting centers, and a gravitation to electronic voting systems present more room for election mischief. She points to certain counties in Tennessee with excellent voting practices, including one that employs secure paper ballots, that experience no delays in reporting election results.

Her dire warnings about casting votes outside your home precinct are explained in the following commentary, provided for this news report.
“Remote voting is becoming an increasingly used method to cast a ballot. Instead of voting in precincts there has been a rise in what is known as the ‘vote center’. Citing convenience’, a voter is allowed to cast a ballot anywhere in the county. They no longer need to appear at their local precinct.
Over ten years ago Cleta Mitchell, founder of the Election Integrity Network, discovered an alarming move by left wing organizations to reduce in person, in precinct voting any way that they could. They knew, as Cleta says, that controlling the process could impact outcomes.
Convenience” marketed Vote Centers, but elections are not only about access but, accuracy and security. Are vote centers more convenient and how do they impact accuracy and security? It’s time to take a closer look at the vulnerabilities of this form of ‘remote’ voting. If ‘convenience’ overrides the standard of accuracy and security, many states will turn to the ultimate vulnerability: internet voting. This could potentially allow more ballot harvesting and ineligible ballots to be cast and counted. Policies in just a few states could affect the outcome for the entire country. (TN passed Public Chapter 371 last year that prohibited ballot tabulation if returned by the internet.)” – said Kathy Harms, Tennessee Fair Elections

Her warnings are more specifically outlined in the document linked here.
On October 4, 2025, you can hear Harms explain Tennessee’s election weaknesses and learn how you can work to correct deficiencies in our system of elections.

Being #1 in election integrity does not mean there is no election fraud in Tennessee. It just means we are not as bad as others which even being #1 could mean a lot of fraud takes place. ZERO election fraud is the only acceptable measurement. When election results were evaluated by Seth Keshel there were 4 counties in TN that had undoubted fraud and several others that were questionable. But we did have many counties with no fraud. In his Top 100 locations with the highest election fraud in the United States Rutherford, TN made the list. So we do have work to do here in TN to erase election fraud in every city and county in Tennessee. #1 is not impressive. ZERO election fraud should be our goal and it could be done but sadly there are places that welcome election/voter fraud.
