Empowered Knox Endorses Candidates In Local Races

Empowered Knox is a grassroots organization that brings awareness to local issues as well as empowering citizens to make informed decisions that will make a positive impact on their community.

The group focuses its efforts on the city of Knoxville, and Knox County.

They have endorsed the following state and county candidates in the August 4th elections for which early voting starts today, Friday July 15th, 2022:

State Senate – District 7: Kent Morrell

State House – District 18: Elaine Davis

State Executive Committeeman – District 5: Scott Smith

State Executive Committeewoman – District 5: Terry Frank

State Executive Committeeman – District 6: Randy Pace

State Executive Committeeman – District 7: Kent Morrell

District Attorney General – District 6: Charme Allen

County Mayor: Glenn Jacobs

County Commission – District 3: Gina Oster

County Commission – District 11: Kim Frazier

County Trustee: Justin Biggs

General Sessions Judge – Div 1: Chuck Cerny

Circuit, Session and Juvenile Court Clerk: Charlie Susano

Register of Deeds: Nick McBride

Board of Education – District 1: Reginald Jackson
