The Jefferson County Republican Party will be hosting a Town Hall Meeting on May 23rd featuring guest speakers Attorney Andy Fox of Tennessee Firearms Association, Erica Moore – Conservative member of the Blount County School Board and State Senator Frank Niceley (District 8). The meeting will also feature and open mic for interested Republicans to express their views on public policy.
Jefferson County Republicans have taken a leadership role in opposing so-called “red flag” laws, removing transgender ideology in public schools, and discouraging woke education practices, this made apparent by formal resolutions made by their executive committee and by topics covered at meetings of the local party membership. Town hall meetings were initiated three years ago to address state and local public policy issues and proposed legislation.
All interested republicans are welcome to attend and to address issues at the open mic after the keynote speakers have concluded their remarks.
