The Tennessee Conservative Staff –

A juvenile was arrested last week for making a threat against students at Signal Mountain Middle/High School in Hamilton County.

At around 10 a.m. on Wednesday, February 28, the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office School Resource Deputy (SRD) who is assigned to Signal Mountain received word of a threat that had been made.

An immediate investigation revealed that there was not an active threat and students were not in any present danger.

Officers identified the juvenile suspect who is now being charged with Threat of Mass Violence on School Property.

The threat included a list of targeted individuals. Individuals named on the list are being identified, and parents will be contacted by the SRD.

Officials say no additional information will be released because this is an active investigation involving minors.
