The Knox County Jail continues to be home to a number of illegal aliens who have been charged with a variety of crimes and are awaiting transfer to ICE.

Here are just a few of the illegal alien arrests in Knox County we missed over the last few months with the individuals still listed on the Knox County Jail roster:
42-year-old Wilmer Hernandez – arrested June 7, 2024 – charged with aggravated sexual batter, rape of a child, and incest.

49-year-old Eliser Correa Romero – arrested July 8, 2024 – charged with vehicular homicide, leaving the scene of an accident, driving under the influence, and violation of driver’s license law.

47-year-old Cesar Nemeron-Ibamez – arrested October 29, 2024 – charged with aggravated burglary and theft.

34-year-old Christian Rincon – arrested October 30, 2024 – charged with aggravated burglary and theft.

45-year-old Eugenio Gomez Ruiz – arrested June 20, 2025 – charged with rape and sale of alcoholic beverage to a minor.

45-year-old Salim Amirali Virani – arrested July 2, 2025 – charged with 3 counts of aggravated domestic assault.

39-year-old Shuai Li – arrested July 18, 2025 – charged with computer offense, money laundering, and organized retail crime.

28-year-old Danito Esculante – arrested August 6, 2025 – charged with DUI (first offense).

37-year-old Chen Jun – arrested August 7, 2025 – charged with computer offense, money laundering, and organized retail crime.

45-year-old Jose Morales-Arocho – arrested August 15, 2025 – charged with DUI (first offense) and two counts of aggravated domestic assault.

45-year-old Eduin Caceres-Banegas – arrested August 30, 2025 – charged with theft of a firearm and possession of a firearm while prohibited by state or federal law.

29-year-old Travis Richardo Hanson – arrested September 4, 2025 – charged with two counts of rape.

27-year-old Ebner Mazariegos – arrested September 6, 2025 – charged with resisting arrest, driving without a license, and DUI (first offense).

21-year-old Yeison Josue Rodriguez Rivera – arrested September 8, 2025 – charged with DUI (first offense).


Each of these individuals has an immigration detainer hold.
They will remain in custody until they are released to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
An ICE hold most likely means they are in this country illegally.
