Downtown Bristol, which spans both Virginia and Tennessee, is the next location on the calendar hosting a Pride festival at the end of August. Murfreesboro follows suit in the middle of September, followed by Chattanooga and Knoxville that have multi-day events at the end of September that run into the beginning of October.

Tri-Pride, to be held August 27th, 2022, will have a parade down State Street in Bristol, spanning two states, and a “family-friendly” festival in Cumberland Square Park in Bristol where organizers expect approximately 10,000 people to attend based on 2019 numbers. The festival will have several performers throughout the day including the Knoxville Gay Men’s Chorus and various local Drag Queens and Kings.

Organizers are providing free tickets to “better control protestors from disrupting our PRIDE fun inside the festival grounds.”

No festival was scheduled in 2020 or 2021 due to COVID-19 so the 501c3 organization gave away Pride flags instead, made possible with a “generous donation” from Red Door Agency, a local Real Estate company.

Attendees are advised that “underwear or swimwear alone on the lower half of the body for this event is inadequate. Please wear shorts, skirts or similar attire as a minimum requirement. Additionally, we are having our event in a city park, so the same clothing rules apply as every day. Basically, cover up your bits and all will be well.” They have also been warned not to engage with protestors.

BoroPride is scheduled for September 17th, 2022 in Cannonsburgh Village, Murfreesboro. Hosted by the Tennessee Equality Project, a list of sponsors for the event can be found here.

TEP also runs a program called Tennessee Open For Business for Tennessee small businesses that pledge not to discriminate against their employees or customers on the basis of sexual orientation or gender identity. Members will get a listing on TEP’s website, a post on Facebook, and a window cling suitable for display in their storefront. The program is made possible through generous support of the Brooks Fund of the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee.

Chattanooga Pride promises a week-long celebration starting September 26th, 2022 and ending October 2nd, 2022. Managed by 501c3 non-profit Tennessee Valley Pride, the festival hosts a Drag Queen Beauty Pageant called Pride of Chattanooga. The current reigning champion is a man who calls himself “Chattanooga’s Disney Princess” and names JonBenet Ramsey, a six-year-old child beauty queen who was found strangled to death, as one of his “inspirations.”

Knox PrideFest will be held in Knoxville’s World’s Fair Park September 30th, 2022 – October 2nd, 2022. East Tennessee Equality Council, another 501c3 foundation, organizes what they claim is the “largest free Pride festival in the south” and depends on sponsors and donations for funds. ETEC organizers say it will be three days of “equality, community, family and fun.”

In guidelines for their parade, ETEC says that all participants must show respect for “all ages, sexes, sexual orientations, races, creeds and cultures of both the Knoxville Community as well as others attending the Parade.”

At the recent Pride festival in Blount County, the city of Maryville arranged for a designated area for protestors with their own parking, away from festival attendees. A group of Tennessee Christians that included a pastor and a worship leader attended to protest Blount Pride. The group sang worship songs and prayed, while some held signs.

As a believing/practicing Christian, I believe that all people deserve our respect and equal treatment. However, I also believe that I should not be coerced into celebrating a lifestyle choice that I believe is abhorrent and inherently wrong. I have absolutely no need to know your personal proclivities or have to watch you act it out.

    Pride? I don’t think so.

Those people in Iowa celebrating the vote to continue Abortion remind me of a movie I saw where people were celebrating the throwing of babies into a pit of fire as sacrifices to their god Molech.

Jer 32:35 And they built the high places of Baal, which are in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to cause their sons and their daughters to pass through the fire unto Molech; which I commanded them not, neither came it into my mind, that they should do this abomination, to cause Judah to sin.

You can’t talk these people out of their “Evil”, like Dictators, dying is the only way they will stop.
But today, people think “Equal Rights” is a justification for evil to exist, rather than eliminating it.

But that only allows it spread, cause the children to sin and make things worse.

Le 20:13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

Jos 7:12 Therefore the children of Israel could not stand before their enemies, but turned their backs before their enemies, because they were accursed: neither will I be with you any more, except ye destroy the accursed from among you.

Isa 9:16 For the leaders of this people cause them to err; and they that are led of them are destroyed.

It is a sad fact that these Cities are willing to host a parade to celebrate a demented and sinful lifestyle.

I agree with all your statements. I will not comment anymore than that. In another article on Blount County. A Person called [reader] posted four comments. I as a Christian I replied to [reader]. I didn’t say anything that was derogatory. I took a screenshot of what I wrote. Because when I went to post my comment, it said that it was under moderation. I showed my friends who are also Christians. They where amazed that my comment would be under moderation. Even on conservative sites Christian are being silenced.
In God we trust not government or man.
    Have a blessed day.

An indepth and wide study was recently released revealing that over 98% of those to be treated for Monkey Pox are homosexual males that engage in reckless associations
So, I hope those cities that are promoting pride events have a supply of the pox vax.
Michael Knowles guest host on Ben Shapiro radio show had a doctor on that discussed the study publication yesterday
