According to a report by the Tennessee Star, the 2024 Israel Summit has found a new host location at the Ramsey Event Center in Franklin following the cancellation of their contract with their original venue due to alleged threats of violence by “Pro-Hamas Thugs.”

The Summit was originally scheduled to take place at the Sonesta Nashville Airport Hotel. The hotel breached its contract by backing out of the agreement, saying that they were receiving “threatening” calls and messages.

The event, scheduled to take place from May 20-22, will now be held at the Ramsey Event Center, a state-of-the-art facility owned by Dave Ramsey, financial advisor and radio host.

The event is described as a “gathering of pro-Israel advocates affirming Israel’s sovereignty.”

Organizers say that the Sonesta Hotel’s cancellation is “unlawful religious discrimination in a place of public accommodation.” Prior to their relocation to the Ramsey Center, Texas-based First Liberty Institute urged the hotel to fulfill its contractual obligations, warning of potential legal action.

“What’s happening here is that because these protestors are protesting the event because it is supporting the Jewish people. For the hotel to cancel that, they’re adopting essentially the discriminatory intent of those agitators and those protestors,” said Executive General Counsel Hiram Sasser.

“God is doing amazing things in Tennessee, and we are even more excited about the upcoming Israel Summit,” two of the summit’s sponsors, HaYovel and The Israel Guys, stated on Tuesday.

Event coordinators are recommending that individuals who are planning to attend the summit revisit their travel and accommodation plans as the new location is 27 miles from the original venue.

  1. My question to both Maya Rutledge and “I stand”: is your love for Israel greater than your love for your own country, the United States of America? Me: I am an American above all and I am tired of seeing my hard-earned tax money used on a parasitical foreign power like Israel who uses it not for self-defense but to degrade another equally deserving people of their right to dignity and the pursuit of happiness. If Israel, God forbid, ever had a falling out with the U.S., would you remain a loyal American, or would you sell out the U.S. for Israel? That is the uneasy impression I have with a lot of Israel’s supporters in the U.S.

    1. Our allegiance is to God and His word first and foremost. God gave the land to the Jewish people thousands of years ago. After the holocaust, the nation of Israel was once again brought into existence, just as the Bible predicted. In Israel’s 76-year history, they have never been the aggressor. The ideology of Hamas calls for the annihilation of the nation of Israel and every Jew. The Arabs never owned the land it belongs to the Jews and God will defend them!
