I have had direct experience with China production as a Quality Manager for critical steam castings and have seen the ways they “cheat” and clone product. Mandatory elements to make a cast iron metal would be meet at a minimum. There are international rules that stipulate how much + or – to make the metal. Not enough or too much of an element will make an inferior part. The most expensive element will be the one that they will skip on guaranteed. Then they will cheat on the amount of material. Small and subtle at first then more and more. And if caught… they don’t care.
I would never trust ANY China product that your life depends on its reliable operation every time. FULL STOP !
