Tennessee Conservative News Staff –
After a recent ranking from CNBC named Tennessee as the “worst state to live in,” a newly released study shows the state landing significantly higher on the list.
According to the new study from U.S. News and World Report, Tennessee falls in the number 25 spot overall, a drastic improvement over the previous ranking.
The report measured states in several categories, with education and healthcare weighing more than other categories in the overall score.
Here’s where Tennessee ranks in each category:
- Fiscal stability – 5th
- Economy – 13th
- Infrastructure – 17th
- Opportunity – 22nd
- Education – 31st
- Natural environment – 34th
- Healthcare – 39th
- Crime and corrections – 40th
The previous study showed that Tennessee failed most in the categories of crime, inclusiveness, and worker protections.
Coming in at the top on the U.S. News ranking was Utah, with Louisiana taking the last spot on the list.

You’re joking, right? The Tennessee Conservative News staff seems to be taking the opinion of CNBC very, very seriously. You know, CNBC that is owned by the same leftist loons at Comcast’s NBCUniversal that gave us MSNBC and judge a state by things such as “Inclusiveness” on which grounds, I’m proud to say, Tennessee falls far short. To put it mildly, “I wouldn’t worry about it”.
Of so much more importance, today our Republican friends over in South Carolina are voting in a Special Primary to choose a nominee to replace Lindsey Graham (Heritage-59%). It’s almost certainly going to a runoff on Aug 25th. Pray Ralph Norman (98%) or Russell Fry (97%) make the runoff.
I thank God every night that I’m not in some God forsaken dimmercrap city or state.
