The Tennessee Conservative Staff –
A Nashville man was arrested in connection with shooting and bomb threats made to an area hospital earlier this month.

According to court records, 37-year-old Emil Jawad made a call to the cardiovascular surgery unit of TriStar Centennial Medical Center on September 15 and stated, “I need my check or I will come Wednesday and shoot you all.”
A second threatening call was made two hours later, leading to an emergency response by police.
Jawad reportedly also called the Intensive Care Unit and threatened to blow it up. The number was traced back to Jawad.

The surgical office was closed while police located Jawad and took him into custody.
He has been booked into the Metro jail on charges of felony false reporting and misdemeanor failure to be booked. He is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday, September 30.
