As the risk of human trafficking continues to rise in Tennessee, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation reports that ten Middle Tennessee men have been arrested this week on allegations of seeking commercial sex from minors.

The TBI Human Trafficking Unit, Williamson County Sheriff’s Office, Spring Hill Police Department, and the 21st Judicial District Attorney General’s Office participated in a two-day undercover operation on November 16 and 17, which resulted in the arrests.

Only one was from Williamson County – 9 were from other counties. 3 were from Davidson. Another article said they were all placed in the Williamson County jail. Sounds like they were all lured to Williamson, probably to Spring Hill. I live in Williamson and don’t want perverts lured to my county and I don’t want to pay to house criminals who were lured here in a Sting.
If you feel differently, lure them to your county and pay to house and feed them.

David brings up a good point in his post. I think it is sort of entrapment for the government to advertise an illegal activity and arrest people that they got into their trap. I am against people that seek prostitues (especially minors) but I would want the act to be organic and not manufactured by the state. I am sure that there is plenty of this going on without the need of the government to create the crime. I also want the government to catch the traffickers. It’s great to catch the Johns but without the traffickers there would be no prostitutes for them to hire.
