Another illegal alien was recently arrested in Knox County on felony charges of burglary and assault.

26-year-old Anibal Jose Diaz Cabeza was taken into custody on October 30. Authorities charged him with aggravated burglary, aggravated assault, and assault with bodily injury.

Inmate records do not show that he had a bond set.

Records also show that Cabeza now has an immigrant detainer hold, meaning he will remain in custody until he is turned over to the U.S. Immigrations Customs and Enforcement.

A detainer hold means that Cabeza is likely in the country illegally.

He has a preliminary hearing scheduled for November 13 regarding his criminal charges.
