The Tennessee Conservative Staff –
Illegal aliens were arrested in Davidson and Knox Counties on drug, gun, and assault charges, among others.

Davidson County police arrested 28-year-old Karen Y. Argueta on August 12. Argueta was charged with theft of a firearm – less than $2500 and possession of a controlled substance (meth). She was booked on a $12,500 bond.

26-year-old David A. Chourio Mendoza was also arrested that day on charges of no driver’s license, driving an unregistered vehicle, and failure to comply with insurance laws. He currently has no bond listed.

On August 13, Duvadchieva Ruslanj Rivera was arrested. Rivera is charged with domestic assault with bodily injury. He was booked on a $2500 bond.

In Knox County, Rigoberto Contreras was arrested on August 12 for sexual exploitation of a minor. Contreras, also known as Rigoberto Contreras Alcantara, was arrested in Blount County a few days before on charges of no driver’s license and criminal impersonation.

Inmate records show that all of these individuals now have immigration detainers.
They will remain in custody until they are released to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
An ICE detainer means they are most likely in this country illegally.
