An illegal alien was arrested last week in Davidson County, charged with stalking and assault.

20-year-old Fernando Corado-Suchite was arrested on Wednesday, November 13, on charges of felony assault with a deadly weapon and misdemeanor stalking. He is being held in the Downtown Detention Center.

Records show that Corado-Suchite was originally placed on a 12-hour domestic violence hold and was given a bond of $35,000 for the assault charge and $5,000 for the stalking.

However, according to the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office, he is not eligible for release at this time due to an immigrant detainer hold.

This detainer hold means Corado-Suchite is likely in the country illegally. He will remain in custody until he is turned over to the U.S. Immigration Customs and Enforcement.
