The Tennessee Conservative Staff –
Davidson County officials arrested an illegal alien last week on charges of rape and sexual battery.
Elias L. Ramirez-Lopez, age 23, was arrested on January 22 and charged with four counts of rape by force or coercion and one count of sexual battery by an authority figure.
According to Davidson County inmate records, the rape charges stem from an incident that occurred on September 1, 2023. The sexual battery charge is from an October 1, 2023, incident.
Ramirez-Lopez is scheduled to appear in court again on February 5.
He is currently being held on an immigrant detainer, which means he will remain in custody, despite being given a bond amount, until he is released to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
An immigrant detainer most likely means that Ramirez-Lopez is in this country illegally.
