The Knox County Sheriff’s Office has arrested an illegal alien on charges related to the manufacturing and selling of illegal drugs.

34-year-old Eduardo Molina Ortiz was arrested on February 24 and charged with conspiracy to possess with intent to sell, deliver, or manufacture a controlled substance and sale of cocaine.

He was booked into jail on a $200,000 bond and was given a bond source order, as well as an order that stated that a GPS device was required before his release.

Inmate records now show that Ortiz now has an ICE hold. This means he will remain in custody until he is released to U.S. Customs and Immigration Enforcement.

An immigrant detainer means Ortiz is most likely in this country illegally.
