Davidson and Knox County law enforcement officials have taken more illegal aliens off the streets.

Davidson County police arrested 41-year-old Jose Manuel Sixtos on Friday, October 17. Sixtos was charged with a misdemeanor probation violation. He was previously charged with driving without a license in 2004, but those charges were dismissed. He was found guilty of the same offense in 2007. It is unclear if the probation violation is in relation to that guilty charge.

57-year-old Santiago Sub Cucul was also arrested on October 17 on charges of driving under the influence (3rd offense) and driving on a revoked license. He was booked on a $16,000 total bond. Cucul was found guilty in October 2020 of DUI, as well as multiple counts of vehicular assault. He was also charged with DUI in 2019.

On Monday, October 20, police arrested 23-year-old Walter Cristobal Chub-Cucul for driving under the influence and no driver’s license. He was booked on a $4000 bond.

In Knox County, police arrested 26-year-old Diovan Antonio Miquelini on Thursday, October 16 for failure to stop at the scene of an accident involving injury. He was booked on a $1000 bond.

32-year-old Ervin Mateo was also arrested on October 16 and charged with DUI (first offense) and driving without a license.

On October 19, police arrested 37-year-old Pedro Sebastian for driving without a license and leaving the scene of an accident with property damage.

Inmate records now show that all of these individuals have immigrant detainers.
They will remain in custody until they are released to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
An ICE hold means these individuals are most likely in the country illegally.
