Dangerous illegal aliens continue to be removed from the streets of both Davidson and Knox Counties, most recently on charges of criminal homicide, domestic assault, and possession of drugs.

26-year-old Emerson Ronaldo Depaz Pangan was arrested on Thursday, September 18. He was charged with facilitation of criminal homicide and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Pangan was booked on a $110,000 bond.

According to police, Pangan, along with 16-year-old Juan Acoj-Tecu, went to the Crestridge Apartments on August 29 to confront 25-year-old Ever Domingo-Mazariegos. Acoj-Tecu fired shots at Domingo-Mazariegos, striking him several times. The victim was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he later died. Acoj-Tecu is also facing charges of criminal homicide and unlawful gun possession.

Police also arrested 28-year-old Manuel Alcides Calderon-Rodriguez on Thursday on two felony counts of aggravated assault (strangulation) with intent, two counts of misdemeanor domestic assault with bodily injury, and one count of misdemeanor probation violation. He was booked on a $42,000 bond. No information was available regarding any prior charges leading to that probation.

28-year-old Cristian Jaziel Bustoc-Perez was also arrested on Thursday, September 18. He was charged with possession with intent to sell (Fentanyl) and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was booked on a $105,000 total bond.

On Friday, September 19, 35-year-old Jorge Sanchez Lopez was arrested and charged with attempted criminal homicide. According to Metro Nashville Police, Lopez and his cousin Eduardo Vasquez were drinking near the Hamilton Creek Marina. They pair began to argue over money. Lopez told police that he stabbed Vasquez several times after Vasquez threatened him with a rock.

Knox County police arrested 19-year-old Hipolito Maradiago on Wednesday, September 17, on charges of theft ($2500-$10000). He was placed on a $12,000 bond.

On September 18, KPD arrested 35-year-old Edwin Virgilio Banegas-Colindrez for driving without a license and resisting arrest. He was booked with a $3000 total bond.

According to inmate records, all of these individuals are now being held for immigration.

They will remain in custody until they are released to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

An ICE detainer most likely means they are in this country illegally.
