Tennessee Conservative News Staff –

A man charged with reckless homicide by Bristol police is now being held on an immigrant detainer.

27-year-old Noe De Jesus Puquir Martinez was arrested on Saturday after police responded to a call regarding a “suspicious death.” The female victim was found with a gunshot wound to the head.

Martinez told police that a friend brought a gun into the home.

He continued, “Showed her the gun, and she took the end of the gun and pointed it at her forehead. She did this in a joking manner. Where we grew up, we are familiar with firearms and violence, so this was not out of the ordinary for us. When she did this, I then pulled the trigger of the gun, thinking it was unloaded. When I did, the gun went off, striking Brenda in the head, and she fell.”

Martinez was taken to the Sullivan County Jail and is being held with no bond. He is scheduled to appear in court on February 11.

A Chattanooga restaurant owner was also released to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement after being arrested in Walker County, Georgia on charges of no insurance, driving without a valid license, and headlight requirements.

Guillermina Solano-Chala, owner of Miss G’s Tortas and Tamales, was arrested on January 23. A family member has told NewsChannel 9 that she has already been sent back to Mexico.

Davidson County police have also arrested the following illegal aliens:

25-year-old Geidi G. Mandon Suarez – arrested February 9

  • Suarez was charged with four counts of domestic assault with bodily injury and two counts of false imprisonment. He was booked on a $15,000 total bond.

33-year-old Saydi Boquin – arrested February 10

  • Boquin was charged with domestic assault with bodily injury. He was booked on a $1000 bond.

Inmate records show that all of these individuals currently have immigrant detainers and will remain in custody until released to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

An ICE hold most likely means they are in this country illegally.
