He was booked on a $48,000 total bond. Alvarado was charged with possession of meth in October 2024, but that charge was dismissed. At the same time, he was found guilty of theft. He has a number of previous charges dating back to 2014, including prior drug charges in 2015.

A previously arrested illegal alien in Davidson County was also convicted of all charges against him. 51-year-old Wilmer Garcia was arrested on August 2024 and charged with two counts of aggravated sexual battery of a child under the age of 13, solicitation of a minor, and inducing sexual activity by a minor. According to reports, his victim was a six-year-old child. He was convicted and was sentenced to 6 years and 1 month in jail.

In Knox County, the following individuals were arrested:

27-year-old Jose Manuel Garcia Perez – arrested January 4

  • Perez was charged with driving without a license and was booked on a $1500 bond.

24-year-old Ricardo Ramirez-Perez – arrested January 4

  • Ramirez-Perez was charged with driving without a license, failure to give obedience to required traffic control device, and simple possession/casual exchange. He was booked on a $9000 bond.

Inmate records show that all of these individuals currently have immigrant detainers and will remain in custody until released to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

An ICE hold most likely means they are in this country illegally.
