The Tennessee Conservative Staff –
All members of the Tennessee House Republican Caucus have endorsed a letter urging the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) to reverse its decision to allow transgender athletes to compete in women’s sports.
The letter, which was sent to the NCAA by Representative Johnny Garrett (R-Goodlettsville), criticizes the 2010 NCAA rule change that permits biological males to participate in female sports, stating that this decision “has had devastating consequences.”
“Allowing men to compete as women not only denies female athletes victories, opportunities, and scholarships but it exposes women to extremely dangerous and uncomfortable situations,” the letter argues. “The biological fact that males have an undeniable advantage over females in athletics is not up for debate.”
The letter further describes the inclusion of biological males in female sports as “unfair at best,” while also highlighting the potential for serious injuries and the infringement on “every woman’s reasonable expectation to the right of privacy and robs their dignity.”
The letter also references Riley Gaines, a competitive swimmer from Sumner County and the University of Kentucky, who gained national attention for her testimony before U.S. House and Senate committees on the issue.
In March of the previous year, Gaines joined other plaintiffs in filing a lawsuit against the NCAA, accusing the organization of violating Title IX with its policy and calling for the reversal of its decisions, including the revocation of titles and records earned by transgender female athletes.
Gaines, who competed against Lia Thomas, a former University of Pennsylvania swimmer known for being the first transgender “woman” to win an NCAA swimming title, has been a leading voice in the push for the NCAA to change its policies.
During her testimony, she remarked, “I felt betrayed; I felt belittled. I felt reduced to a photo-op. But my feelings didn’t matter. What mattered to the NCAA were the feelings of a biological male.”
The Republican Caucus letter reflects these concerns, stating, “The absurd and unsupported view that men playing in women’s sports is inclusive and safe cannot continue infiltrating the athletics of colleges across the country. The actions by the NCAA are humiliating and destructive to young women and the NCAA’s leaders should know and act better.”

GOOD!! NCAA is TRASH!
If a person claims that they identified and dressed as another sex than what they are, they will typically have their claim viewed as ridiculous by sane people. Trans people use to be called “cross dressers” which more accurately describes what they are doing.
So… why is a trans male that identifies as a female not considered ridiculous? If a male came into a female’s only restroom/lockeroom where a minor girl is and disrobed to nude in front of her exposing his male genitals to her as a minor female, in a public place, that can be considered a crime. Laws prohibit indecent exposure or public lewdness, BUT…. he considers it alright just because he thinks he’s a female. Trans has made us loose our way… or our morals…………..
