A second illegal alien is wanted by Metro Nashville Police homicide detectives in connection with a 2025 double murder that occurred at Percy Priest Lake in Nashville last year.
According to law enforcement, 23-year-old Jose Miguel Guardado-Aguilar is facing two counts of criminal homicide in the case.
The first suspect, Josue Hernandez-Moxje, was arrested in April of 2025 for the murder of two Alabama teens after their bodies were discovered in a wooded area near Percy Priest Lake.
Hernandez-Moxje, a native of Honduras, was arrested in Kenner, Louisiana and then extradited back to Nashville where he was charged with two counts of criminal homicide for the shooting deaths of 18-year-old Jamie Valdez-Garcia and 19-year-old Amir Landan Wilkerson.
The two victims traveled to Nashville from Alabaster, Alabama in Wilkerson’s vehicle on April 27th, 2025 but the motivation for the trip is unknown.
The bodies of the two young men were found by someone walking on the trail between Lincoya Bay Apartments and Percy Priest Lake.
Hernandez-Moxje has been held in the Metro Jail since being extradited in June, 2025, from Louisiana. He was tracked down with the use of license plate recognition technology and subsequently arrested by Louisiana law enforcement on outstanding warrants for bad checks, domestic violence, and theft. Evidence linking him to the double murder was found in his vehicle.
Metro Nashville Police Department announced on Thursday that Guardado-Aguilar is a second suspect in the investigation.
Suspected to be affiliated with MS-13, Guardado-Aguilar is considered armed and dangerous and has connections to several cities outside of the Nashville area which include Alabaster, Birmingham, and Hoover in Alabama; and Fort Smith in Arkansas.
