Transgender Individual Serves As Substitute Teacher At East Ridge Elementary, Makes Kids Refer To Him As “Mrs.” (Update 4.19.23)
***Update 4.19.23 – An anonymous source has informed The Tennessee Conservative that the transgender teacher at East Ridge Elementary School is attempting to get the teacher that allegedly took the photo of him fired. Concerned citizens maintain that parents have a right to know who is teaching their kids. ***

A social media post sounded the alarm about a male substitute teacher, dressed as a woman, making students at East Ridge Elementary School in Hamilton County call him “Mrs.”
In response, The Tennessee Conservative reached out to the school for verification that this was occurring. The school referred us to the Hamilton County Superintendent’s office.
The superintendent’s office confirmed that the Superintendent had been made aware of the situation. They tell us that they are researching how and why this was allowed to happen.
Hamilton County resident Mark Caldwell declared: “To be clear, the difference between this situation and a gender-confused parent taking a child to a bar to be ‘entertained’ by drag queens, as some did recently, is that the parents of these first graders had no advance knowledge about this ‘teacher,’ and did not consent to their children being exposed to this gender-dysphoric indoctrination. For the record, I believe how an adult wants to “identify” is their personal business, but it becomes all of our business when they take that identity public in order to groom young children with their identity disorder.”
On The Tennessee Conservative’s initial social media posts about this situation, concerned Tennesseans spoke out.
Brett P. Salmon said, “Parents, you’d better be doing something about this!!!!”
John Weissinger said, “Oh H No!!!”
Honey Sullivan Rodgers said, “We need to pray for these lost souls who are setting out to deceive our children and pray heavily for a shield and cloak of protection over the young and vulnerable.”
East Ridge Elementary School has roughly 928 students ranging from pre-Kindergarten through 5th grade and their academic performance continues to suffer.
According to the most recent ranking of the school by Public School Review (publicschoolreview.com), East Ridge Elementary places in the bottom 50% of all 1,721 schools in Tennessee for overall test scores (math proficiency is top 50%, and reading proficiency is bottom 50%) for the 2020-21 school year.
The percentage of students achieving proficiency in math is 22% (which is lower than the Tennessee state average of 28%) for the 2020-21 school year. The percentage of students achieving proficiency in reading/language arts is 18% (which is lower than the Tennessee state average of 30%) for the 2020-21 school year.
According to Public School Review, the school’s student population has declined by 15% over the last five school years, but the teacher population has remained relatively stable with 72 teachers employed at the school.
The student to teacher ratio is 13:1, which is a bit under the average Tennessee state level of 15:1.
There is a full-time teacher in Williamson Co. who is a biological man yet dresses as a woman and calls himself a woman’s name. So, it is a social contagion.
Because this doesn’t effect the profits of members of the Chamber of Commerce so the Republican Party can’t be bestirred to do something about it. In a few hours the Williamson County Republican Party will have its Reorganization Convention which will see a slate of conservatives running for various offices. This Republican Party desperately needs a reorganization. We shall soon see if it starts in Williamson County.
Remember this person was hired by your school officials at the “courtesy” of the parents tax dollars…you teach what you allow Hamilton County! Call & clearly demand his removal & objection to any future weirdo being hired to influence your children!! Set the standard & don’t back down!!
Unfortunately, thanks to a SCOTUS decision on EEOC vs Harris Funeral Home (June 15, 2020) all transgender individuals are protected from sexual discrimination under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act. There is little the school district is able to do in this regard.
I am most concerned about this person being in a position of authority and forcing those under his power to address him by his preferred pronoun. That is compelled speech, it is forced!
But worst of all is the publicity this person is getting.
The removal demand need to start with the one who hired the demented!
This piece of garbage does not need to be anywhere near Children. Parents need to RISE up!!

If people would stop putting up with this crap it would quit. This person should have been physically removed from the school immediately. Principal. Where were you during all this?
We agree with CmissC comments, but also, lets talk about the fact that these babies are not being educated. Why? Is it poor curriculum choices? Is it low attendance? Is it teaching to the TCAP? Broken homes? Why are the kids not receiving an education? There are teachers and a lower than average student to teacher ratio.
Get the CRT and social wokeness out of the school, and get back to reading, ‘riting, and ‘rithmatic!
We as a society need to STOP complying with everything that the left keeps throwing at us. From mask mandates to these mentally ill people that don’t know what gender they are. America is a morally corrupt society and we need to put God back into every aspect of our lives. Until we do this perversion and the reprobate way of thinking will continue.

Solve this by removing the children from the indoctrination system and homeschool them! That’s what I would do if my children were minors.
