Several illegal aliens were arrested in both Davidson and Knox Counties on charges including DUI, evading arrest, reckless endangerment and more.

Davidson County police arrested the following individuals:
38-year-old Oliverio Gumercindo Mez – arrested December 10
- Mez was charged with driving under the influence and driver’s license required. He was booked on a $3500 bond. He has one prior charge for no driver’s license that was dismissed in 2023.

21-year-old Karla Guadalupe Duron-Hernandez – arrested December 14
- Duron-Hernandez was charged with theft of a vehicle ($2500>but<$10,000) and driver’s license required. She was booked on a $21,000 total bond.

24-year-old Alfonso Rodrigo Macz Cuc – arrested December 15
- Cuc was charged with driving under the influence, driver’s license required, and hold or use altered or false document or plate. He was booked on a $6500 bond.


44-year-old Juan Jose Gomez – arrested December 15
- Gomez was charged with driving under the influence and driver’s license required. He was booked on a $3500 bond. Gomez has a number of previous charges dating back to 2009, all of which are motor vehicle related such as no driver’s license.



Knox County police arrested the following individuals:
21-year-old Daniel Morales – arrested December 10
- Morales was charged with DUI: first offense, violation of the financial responsibility law, and driving without a license. He was booked on a $4500 total bond.

21-year-old Luis Ricardo Ramirez-Sales – arrested December 11
- Ramirez-Sales was charged with DUI: first offense, simple possession/casual exchange, driving without a license, violation of the financial responsibility law, open container, reckless endangerment (vehicle/misd), and drivers to exercise due care. He was booked on a $15,000 bond.

51-year-old Emiliano Francisco – arrested December 14
- Francisco was charged with speeding. He was booked without a set bond.

29-year-old Marvin Pacay – arrested December 14
- Pacay was charged with DUI: first offense and driving without a license. He was booked on a $1500 bond.

48-year-old Jose Gonzales Vasquez – arrested December 14
- Vasquez was charged with resisting stop/arrest/search (no weapon), public intoxication, and evading arrest. He was booked on a $1000 bond.

32-year-old Luis Manuel-Felipe – arrested December 14
- Manuel-Felipe was charged with DUI: first offense and implied consent (enhancement only). He was booked on a $1500 bond

Inmate records show that all of these individuals now have immigrant detainers.
They will remain in custody until they are released to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
An ICE hold most likely means these individuals are in the country illegally.
